What is Valve Base (Bottom for Valves)?
A valve base is a standardized mounting interface that securely connects an actuator to a valve body, ensuring precise alignment, torque transmission, and leak-proof sealing.
Function

2.Effective Valve Stem Protection:
Environmental Shield: Acts as a protective barrier, covering the valve's top works (including the stem seal packing and upper stem section).
Contaminant Exclusion: Helps prevent ingress of dust, dirt, moisture, corrosive agents, and other environmental contaminants that could damage the stem seal or cause stem corrosion/binding.
Mechanical Guard: Provides a degree of physical protection against accidental impacts or abrasion to the critical stem area.

Integral to Valve Function: Directly interfaces with the valve's mounting flange (typically conforming to ISO 5211 or equivalent) and transmits actuator torque to the valve stem.
